私は、地球の変動によって形作られる自然と芸術（Nature and Art）の関係について、観察と探求を重ねながら「循環」と「繋がり」をテーマに表現しています。近年では、日本の伝統工芸技法である「金継ぎ」「呼継」の概念に触発され、壊れたものや壊されたものを修復するのではなく、新たな価値を生み出すというコンセプト（RECREATE）で制作に取り組んでいます。私の創作活動は、3Dスキャナー、3Dプリンター、VR、ARなどの最新の技術を使い表現しています。代表作には、壊れたものの断片から新たな価値と形を創り出す作品「プラ継」や、手のひらの中で地形の形を観察する「地掌器」、そして日本庭園に見られる伝統的な石の器「石つくばい」を使用した「雲舟」などがあります。
I explore the relationship between nature and art, shaped by the Earth's movements, and express themes of "circulation" and "connection" through my work. In recent years, I have been inspired by the concepts of traditional Japanese craftsmanship, such as "Kintsugi" and "Yobitsugi," approaching my creations with the idea of generating new value rather than merely repairing damaged or destroyed objects (RECREATE).
My creative endeavors utilize the latest technologies including 3D scanners, 3D printers, VR, and AR. Notable works include "Pla-tsugi," which transforms fragments of broken objects into new forms of value, "Chisyouki," a tool for observing the shapes of landscapes in the palm of one's hand, and "Unshu," a creation incorporating the traditional stone basins found in Japanese gardens (Ishitsukubai).

概略 Overview
既存の伝統的な修復概念を新たな技術や発想と結びつけて、もの創りと造形表現の可能性を探る。工芸の修復技術である金継ぎや呼継の概念を、VR、3Dスキャナー、3Dプリンターを使い、三つの軸に分けて制作、伝統的な建物内で展示を行う。壊れたものの再創造『プラ継』、実際の地形データを加工して創造する地形の器『地掌器』、見えない水の繋がりをイメージで繋ぐ雲の器『雲舟』を発表する。
This artist explores the possibilities of creative expression and craftsmanship by intertwining existing traditional restoration concepts with new technologies and ideas. Utilizing the restoration techniques of Japanese crafts such as kintsugi (golden joinery) and yokitsugi, the artist incorporates VR, 3D scanners, and 3D printers to create works divided into three axes. The artworks are exhibited within traditional buildings. The artist presents "PLAtsugi," a recreation of broken objects, "Chishouki," a topography vessel created by processing actual terrain data, and "Unshu," a cloud vessel that visually connects the unseen connections of water.

1978年、大阪府生まれ。2000年、フランス国立ナンシー美術学校（交換留学）アート科3年修了。2002年、金沢美術工芸大学美術工芸学部美術科彫刻専攻卒業。2008年、東京藝術大学大学院美術研究科博士後期課程修了。主な活動に「Cloud Ship」（1999、ノルマンディー海岸〜モゼル県の森／フランス）、「А TOWER OF OCTOBER」（2003、屋久島／鹿児島）、「マルモル・プロジェクト」（2005、モンテレイ／メキシコ）、「Site Zero」（2007、温泉津町／島根）、「Recreate」（2020–22、兵庫）など。
Born in Osaka, Japan in 1978. In 2000, completed the third year of the art department at the National School of Fine Arts in Nancy, France (exchange program). In 2002, graduated from the Sculpture Department of the Art and Craft Division at Kanazawa College of Art. In 2008, completed the doctoral program in the Graduate School of Fine Arts at Tokyo University of the Arts.
Notable projects include "Cloud Ship" (1999, Normandy Coast to Moselle Forest, France), "A TOWER OF OCTOBER" (2003, Yakushima, Kagoshima), "Marble Project" (2005, Monterrey, Mexico), "Site Zero" (2007, Yunotsu-cho, Shimane), and "Recreate" (2020–22, Hyogo).
